The Cistera application platform is unique, as it provides a single interface into and out of Cisco's Call Manager and Call Manager Express that seamlessly integrates multiple application engines into an IPT solution. Based on the Linux 2.6 Kernel, the Cistera Enterprise OS 4 provides users with improved clustering capability, increased memory support, and faster performance. The Cistera Enterprise OS 4 provides the core processing, clustering and data management platform. Cistera Enterprise OS 4 is the first Enterprise Class Operating System built specifically for IPT Application platforms.

ServiceLevelManager offers Cisco customers an unprecedented view of their IPT applications environment, and confirms Cistera's ongoing commitment to improving its customers' ability to manage their IPT systems. The Cistera ServiceLevelManager™ provides administrators with a global view of customer IP telephony network from a Network Health perspective. Using the global Network Health metric, administrators can quickly identify problems in their IPT environment. ServiceLevelManager gives quick actionable information to respond faster to problems.

The new version of ContentStreamer™ adds the first Podcasting engine for IPTelephony to its RSS enabled delivery of audio, graphics, music and data streaming capabilities to the IP phone network. ContentStreamer™ defines a whole new class of media streaming tools for IP Telephony. ContentStreamer™ fully implements the Really Simple Syndication (RSS) standard with voice, video and data.

The popular recording solutions from Cistera just got better. New features such as Personal Recorder, improved email management and administration, all offer an improved experience for users.
