Cistera ZoneController Appliance

Cistera Networks’ ZoneController provides the unique ability to integrate IP phones with overhead speakers for a truly converged overhead paging application. The ZoneController enables simultaneous paging across both IP phones and overhead speakers, without latency, while utilizing Cistera’s RapidBroadcast™, an intuitive paging application.

The ZoneController is a 1U, rackmountable appliance that is configured and maintained using Cistera’s RapidBroadcast application. Using the same web-interface, you can configure zones exactly like configuring IP paging groups—with the ability to create groups that include both overhead speakers and IP phones.

The ZoneController is configurable to support from four or eight paging zones, depending on customer needs. Each zone may support an unlimited number of overhead speakers and IP phones, with certain dependencies on attenuation, power and amplification needs.
